The Museum is part of a 5,750 square feet complex that includes a Library and Research Center, an Assembly Hall with audio visual equipment and an Exhibit Hall with a mural depicting the history of the area, models of historic structures such as Shook School, historical artifacts, photographs, and banners that tell, in words and graphics, the stories that comprise the area’s history and how the various communities are connected in history with interrelated pathways.
The museum is home to a collection of permanent exhibits.
The Development and Museum Committee operates, maintains, and manages the museum and the Exhibit Hall within the Heritage Center. The committee is responsible for the day to day management of the Exhibit Hall and other exhibit areas of the Heritage Center. The committee is responsible for the review and appropriateness of the historical content of all data and displays in the Heritage Center.
